The Rocket - February, 1993

$22.00

Seattle’s seminal local rag, The Rocket, was the music and art community’s main bulletin board from the 70’s to the 90’s. The Rocket documented the rich 80’s punk and power pop scenes and Seattle’s 90’s output that would become known the rock movement known widely as grunge”—a scene, by as early at 1993, would be regarded by the Rocket with characteristic Seattle cynicism.

In this issue, Dead Moon—arguably the PNW’s greatest band—are lauded with a gushing retrospective and one of those iconic DM interviews full of humor and rock hard nuggets of earned wisdom. Also some great layout work by legend and in-house layout coordinator at that time, Art Chantry.
